Rated at 5000 VA / 4000W, the SUA5000RMI5U is a rack-mountable line-interactive UPS built by APC (Schneider Electric). Whenever mains power fails or fluctuates, it carries servers, workstations, POS clusters and networking racks without interruption so no work is lost.

Technology and build

The SUA5000RMI5U reacts only as required. Minor sags and surges are corrected by AVR, so the battery in the SUA5000RMI5U stays in reserve for outages. That reserve, together with USB/serial shutdown control, protects data on connected equipment.

• Cost-conscious setups that still need genuine backup — the unit reserves its battery for true outages while regulating routine voltage swings.
