APC 500VA Easy UPS, 500VA BV500I-MSX

When the grid misbehaves, the BV500I-MSX steps in. This APC (Schneider Electric) tower UPS is rated 500 VA / 300W and uses line-interactive regulation to keep a computer, router, POS till or CCTV recorder running and protected.

Protection architecture

The BV500I-MSX reacts only as required. Minor sags and surges are corrected by AVR, so the battery in the BV500I-MSX stays in reserve for outages. That reserve, together with USB/serial shutdown control, protects data on connected equipment.
