APC 2000VA Smart-UPS, 2KVA SMC2000I
For sites that cannot afford downtime, the SMC2000I supplies 2000 VA / 1300W of backed-up, conditioned power. This tower line-interactive unit from APC by Schneider Electric bridges outages and smooths out a noisy grid for a workstation, POS terminal, router and peripherals.
Power conditioning explained
The SMC2000I balances cost and protection through a line-interactive design. In everyday use it filters noise and regulates voltage; only when the grid actually drops does the SMC2000I switch to its 1300W battery output, keeping the load alive long enough to save work or shut down cleanly.
