The BX750MI from APC by Schneider Electric is a tower uninterruptible power supply rated 750 VA / 410W. Using a line-interactive design, it protects a computer, router, POS till or CCTV recorder against outages, surges and voltage swings.

Protection architecture

Rather than convert power continuously, the BX750MI watches the line and steps in when needed. Its AVR boosts sags and trims surges without touching the battery, and if mains fails the BX750MI transfers to battery within a few milliseconds. An LCD or indicator panel shows load and status.
