IDP Smart 51 D
The IDP Smart 51 D is a dual-sided ID card printer from the Smart 51 series. Because it prints both sides of a card automatically, the Smart 51 D suits cards that carry information on the front and back, such as a photo and name on one side and terms, a barcode or usage notes on the other.
Overview
Like the rest of the Smart 51 range, the Smart 51 D uses direct dye-sublimation for edge-to-edge, 300 dpi colour output, with 600/1200 dpi for monochrome text. In addition, automatic dual-sided printing removes the need to flip cards by hand, which improves throughput and consistency. The Smart 51 D connects over USB and Ethernet and accepts optional encoders.
