Bixolon XD5-40D 4-inch Direct Thermal Label Printer

Bixolon XD5-40D

The Bixolon XD5-40D is a 4-inch direct thermal label printer built for faster, mid-volume labelling. Compared with entry models, the XD5-40D prints quicker and accepts a wider range of media, so it suits busier despatch and retail back-office work.

Overview

The XD5-40D prints at 203 dpi and up to 7 ips (178 mm/sec). Furthermore, it accepts label media from 15 to 118 mm wide on rolls up to 127 mm in diameter, and its 64 MB SDRAM with 128 MB Flash memory helps it buffer larger label batches.

Best Suited For

• Growing despatch operations — a 7 ips speed clears label queues faster than entry models.
• Varied label sizes — 15–118 mm media width covers small product tags through to wide shipping labels.
