Engineered by APC (Schneider Electric), the BX1600MI-MS is a tower line-interactive UPS with a 1600 VA / 900W rating. It sits between the mains and a workstation, POS terminal, router and peripherals, holding power steady and stepping in the instant utility power drops.

Protection architecture

Rather than convert power continuously, the BX1600MI-MS watches the line and steps in when needed. Its AVR boosts sags and trims surges without touching the battery, and if mains fails the BX1600MI-MS transfers to battery within a few milliseconds. An LCD or indicator panel shows load and status.
