Aclas FC4 Type C Online Fiscal Control Unit (TIMS)

The Aclas FC4 is an online fiscal control unit, built to work as a Type B or Type C device under Kenya’s Tax Invoice Management System (TIMS), rather than as a standalone standalone printer. It’s designed for businesses that already run a POS system or automated billing software and need a compact, plug-and-play control unit to handle real-time tax invoice transmission to KRA iTax, rather than a full electronic tax register with its own printer and keyboard. A 240×320, 4-line LCD with backlight shows device status clearly, and 4 physical keys handle basic setup and operation checks. The unit supports sales invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and Proforma invoices, and stores encrypted transaction data internally for five years, keeping records available for audits. Like other Aclas TIMS devices, it uses a FIPS L2 certified secure IC to encrypt data exchanged with the TIMS server, and connects via WiFi, 3G, 4G, or Ethernet, giving flexibility depending on the business’s network setup.
