SecuGen Hamster Pro 10 USB Fingerprint Reader (FBI Certified)
The SecuGen Hamster Pro 10 is SecuGen’s smallest and most affordable FBI-certified fingerprint reader, built for organizations that need government-grade image quality in an ultra-compact, portable form factor. It captures fingerprints at 500 DPI resolution (252 x 330 pixels) using the compact U10 sensor, just under 13mm thick, and is certified as meeting the FBI’s Next Generation Identification (NGI) Image Quality Specifications, along with FIPS 201 (PIV) and Mobile ID FAP 10 compliance. An IP54-rated dust and water-resistant glass platen keeps the sensor protected in less-than-ideal environments, while Fake Finger Rejection technology helps defend against spoofed fingerprints. Auto-On wakes the sensor the instant a finger is placed, and Smart Capture reliably reads dry, wet, aged, or scarred fingers.
