The IDP Smart 51 L is a dual-sided ID card printer with an integrated laminator, built for secure and durable cards. By applying a protective film during printing, the Smart 51 L produces tamper-resistant cards that withstand daily handling, which makes it suited to high-security credentials.

Overview

The Smart 51 L combines automatic dual-sided dye-sublimation printing at 300 dpi with inline lamination. As a result, it can apply clear or holographic overlay film for both durability and anti-counterfeit protection. The laminator supports single- and dual-side lamination using 0.6 mil and 1.0 mil film, while the printer itself retains the Smart 51 series card handling and USB/Ethernet connectivity.
