The BX2200MI-MS from APC by Schneider Electric is a tower uninterruptible power supply rated 2200 VA / 1200W. Using a line-interactive design, it protects a workstation, POS terminal, router and peripherals against outages, surges and voltage swings.

Power conditioning explained

The BX2200MI-MS balances cost and protection through a line-interactive design. In everyday use it filters noise and regulates voltage; only when the grid actually drops does the BX2200MI-MS switch to its 1200W battery output, keeping the load alive long enough to save work or shut down cleanly.
