Rated at 2000 VA / 1300W, the Smart-UPS C is a rack-mountable line-interactive UPS built by APC (Schneider Electric). Whenever mains power fails or fluctuates, it carries a workstation, POS terminal, router and peripherals without interruption so no work is lost.
Technology and build
Rather than convert power continuously, the Smart-UPS C watches the line and steps in when needed. Its AVR boosts sags and trims surges without touching the battery, and if mains fails the Smart-UPS C transfers to battery within a few milliseconds. An LCD or indicator panel shows load and status.
