Built around a line-interactive core, the SMT2200IC provides 2200 VA / 1980W of clean backup power. In practice, APC’s tower unit gives servers, workstations, POS clusters and networking racks enough runtime to ride through a cut or shut down safely.

Power conditioning explained

The SMT2200IC uses line-interactive regulation with automatic voltage regulation (AVR). During normal running it cleans the mains and corrects under- and over-voltage electronically, so the SMT2200IC calls on its battery only for genuine outages, which keeps that battery healthier for longer.
